Bio
Jens Cosedis Nielsen is Professor of Cardiology at Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University (AU) and Co-Director at Department of Cardiology, Aarhus University Hospital (AUH). He obtained his MD from AU in 1991, defended his PhD thesis in 2000 and in 2007, his doctoral thesis. He was trained at AUH and at Leipzig Heart Centre in Germany. Since 2011, he has served in several committees within the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and was Chair of the Task Force on cardiac pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapy of the 2021 ESC Guidelines.
