Bio

Marianne Bootsma is cardiologist and invasive electrophysiologist at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) since 2000. She received her MD from LUMC in 1989 and her PhD degree in 1995. Since 2000 she is medical head of the ECG department of the hospital. She participated for many years in the ablation and primary PCI program of the LUMC and was for a longer period supervisor of the CCU. She currently is a cardiac device specialist and her main focus is on inherited cardiomyopathies and inherited arrhythmias.
