Hadrian Wijnmaalen is cardiologist and invasive electrophysiologist at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) since 2017. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in 2012. He was trained at the LUMC and at the Leipzig Heart Center in Germany. In 2018 he completed the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Cardiac Arrhythmia Management (DAS-CAM) at Maastricht University. He is an EHRA certified cardiac device specialist, invasive electrophysiologist and EACVI level 2 certified for MRI.
